Assist financial advisors in managing and organizing office workflow - With an emphasis on providing a unique client experience that defines and differentiates our practice. Examples of this include: Creating/Managing client events, building relationships, and fulfilling client inquires. This position will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics while adhering to legal compliance.

Responsibilities will change over time to meet the needs of the practice and can include other duties as assigned by the advisor.

Position Functions:

80% Client Care

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients via phone, email, and in person
  • Prepare agendas/forms and other materials for client meetings
  • Process required paperwork for client account set-up and investment implementation
  • Provide ongoing customer service for specific client requests and for online account access
  • Maintain client database
  • Maintain compliance with broker/dealer and regulatory requirements
  • Occasional front-desk backup including answering phones and greeting guests
  • Engage in the creation and planning of client events for team building and networking

20% Business Management

  • Work with home office to ensure accurate account setup and resolve issues
  • Answer questions and provide readily available information to clients, if requested and as allowable, as it relates to servicing their accounts
  • Maintain files and records in accordance with the records retention policy
  • Perform other allowable duties as assigned by the financial advisor(s) and associate financial advisor(s)
  • Coordinate client appreciation events and seminars

Key Traits or Qualifications

  • College degree or higher
  • 2+ years of similar experience
  • Associate degree in a related field and/or 3-5 years of client relations and business management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to adhere to rules and regulations as stated and required by advisor
  • Positive attitude and sincere willingness to constantly learn and grow
