Purpose/Description
The College of St. Scholastica has openings for adjunct faculty to teach in the Master’s Occupational Therapy program during fall 2019 and spring and summer semesters 2020. Most courses are 8-week intensive and include occupation-centered practice across the lifespan. Must be available to teach at St. Scholastica’s Health Science Center for a minimum of 2 half days per week. The Health Science Center is located in the BlueStone development about one mile from the Duluth main campus. The Center includes state-of-the-art labs and classroom space, as well as study and lounge areas. It also features maurices Community Clinic, an interdisciplinary clinic where students receive supervised hands-on experience working with uninsured or underinsured individuals.

Required Qualifications
Preferred degree is a research doctorate (PhD, EdD, ScD) or post-professional doctorate in occupational therapy. Entry-level doctorate degrees with a minimum of 2 years clinical experience will be considered. Master’s degree will be considered depending on years of experience and/or additional professional credentials. Must be licensed in Minnesota or able to receive license by September. We are seeking individuals who work well with diverse populations and those who will advance the Benedictine values of the College.
