Job Description

The Multimedia Production Specialist is responsible for assisting in the execution of corporate video, photography, and media projects. This position will function both independently and/or on a crew and take part in studio and field based production including operating a camera, editing material, set and lighting design, and audio. Adherence to project timelines and budget. Work to build relationships with external and internal partners: agencies, freelancers, and other resources. Troubleshoot and maintain studio equipment.

  • Execute digital and video production components as well as photography and media projects, including production, post-production, execution, and studio set-up.
  • Serve as an expert in studio and field based video and photo production, including camera operation, editing, set and lighting design, and audio production in a variety of conditions.
  • Advise, participate, and consult on the development of production plans.
  • Manage editing and production functions for existing or supplied creative/footage, including but not limited to resizing, revising, or refreshing content. Provide graphic design support.
  • Contribute in the development of production assets such as script, storyboard, film, record, edit, sound effects, graphics, and special effects to be used for digital/television and other outlets.
  • Lead the protocols for production quotes, organization/logging of equipment and management of internal studio and studio schedules, and calendaring of projects.
  • Collaborate and work cross-functionally to offer media production support for all areas of the company and the Marketing Department. Identify potential opportunities for use of media studio.
  • Maintain camera equipment and troubleshoot gear issues as needed.
  • Maintain digital assets in digital asset management system.

    Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to media production or equivalent experience required.
  • 2+ years creating videography, editing, and content creation experience.
  • Knowledge of and experience with sound, lighting, and multiple camera packages.
  • Demonstrated experience with video creation, editing software, and graphics software ( Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Premiere, and After Effects ).
