Job you will do

Typical Day in the Life

A typical day as a Network Engineer in Fargo might include the following:
  • Ensure smooth operation of data networks in order to provide maximum performance and availability for the network users.
  • Provides and apply technical strategies in the design, configuration and maintenance of LAN, WAN and wireless networks to ensure the stability, integrity and operational effectiveness of the corporate network.
  • Analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems with a sense of urgency while providing staff training where required.
  • Perform technology needs analysis and assist with technology planning through ongoing research.
  • Participate with the design, purchase, installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links.


Who You Are
  • You have excellent client services and communication skills -- both your verbal and written communication is outstanding.
  • You have the ability to evaluate and articulate complex information to end users.
  • You are able to manage details with keen organization skills while being able to see the big picture and think strategically.
  • You have strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills, and a working knowledge of supported platforms and client business, technology advances and security trends.
  • You have previous experience installing troubleshooting and configuring Cisco hardware and extensive experience working in a Cisco route/switch environment.
  • You have previous experience installing troubleshooting and configuring Cisco DNA Center environment.
  • You have CCNP or similar certification highly desired and CCIE certification desired.
  • In addition to all of this, you have a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future
