Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

Planning Activities:

  • Provide status of work in progress, material availability and potential production problems to ensure that employees, equipment and materials are ready as needed
  • Creates daily equipment or process schedules for assigned department
  • Completes job orders including issuing materials for the transaction


Manufacturing support activities:

  • Creates tags for material in process and finished materials
  • Creates and updates reports to support the manufacturing
  • Updates the manufacturing system for WIP
  • Reconciles and ensures proper paperwork is available for operations
  • Consistently demonstrate and promote MMC Core Values
  • Ensure use of safe work procedures and wear all required PPE. Promptly report all injuries and unsafe conditions.



Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelors degree and 0 years experience OR a high school diploma and a minimum of 4 years experience in manufacturing specifically updating inventory and/or manufacturing systems
  • Prefer experience in production control and/or scheduling
  • Microsoft Office skills; particularly with Excel
  • MRP/ERP knowledge
  • Ability to perform basic shop math functions
  • Ability to solve practical problems and make decisions within a set of guidelines
  • Ability to read and understand required internal manufacturing paperwork
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work with others as part of a high performance team
  • Adapt to changing work priorities
  • Ability to work under limited supervision using standardized practices and/or procedures
