Job Summary

The Salesforce Support Reliability Engineer is a highly technical Software Engineer that will build, implement, and drive innovation into the Salesforce Platform. Specifically, this individual contributor will be an expert in building and maintaining platform applications. This person(s) will identify, debug, and resolve incidents on the platform as well as build Sales Automation and Enablement initiatives for the Global Sales, Group Sales, and Business Development teams.

To be successful in this role the person(s) need to be able to work with production systems, be the technical lead on multiple projects at one time and provide Salesforce-based solutions which are highly scalable, usable, and secure. The need to translate complex technical solutions to critical business partners is also a requirement, as are strong project management skills.

Responsibilities
  • Be the expert of Salesforce functionality and features in the enterprise.
  • Implement Salesforce technical best practices including right-sizing of customization, automation, and CI/CD
  • Support extremely complex projects as the Subject Matter Expert for IT Service Management & DevOps as it relates to Salesforce
  • Build automated testing solutions for existing Salesforce Test Cases, evangelize with the Salesforce Development team on automation best practices for the platform.
  • Identify and drive business automation on the Salesforce platform.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain integration to existing systems as part of the Small Enhancement mantra of IT Service Management & DevOps at Radisson.
  • Own the full-life cycle of Defect Management and Small Enhancement Management, including translating requirements to technical specifications, development, testing, and ultimately deployment for the platform.
  • Exceptional customer service skills as interaction with The Business is a requirement of the role.
  • Lead UAT efforts of Salesforce releases
Requirements
  • 4+ years of Salesforce experience across both Classic and Lightning; Lightning xis a requirement.
  • Salesforce Certification is required, preference to Platform App Builder or Platform Developer
  • Experience with integrating 3rd Party Software solutions to the Salesforce Platform
  • Experience with an ITSM Ticketing solution; prefer ServiceNow.
  • Strong knowledge of modern software design principles, concepts, and best practices.
  • Experience configuring/customizing standard SFDC objects such as Leads, Accounts, Opportunities, Reports & Dashboards, with proven hands-on experience building custom objects & solutions.
  • Experience with a DevOps CI/CD Pipeline on the Salesforce Platform
  • Experience working on a Site Reliability Engineering team is strongly preferred.
