Position Information

The position will remain open and applications will be accepted until filled.

Starting date: Negotiable.

This position is located on the Bismarck State College campus and includes classroom instruction and possible upgrade of instructional materials directly related to ethanol and biofuels production.

Required Competencies

Bachelor's degree or an associate degree in an energy technology or appropriate related field and a minimum of three years of non-teaching energy industry work experience;

OR a certificate in an appropriate field with a minimum of five years of non-teaching energy industry work experience;

OR no degree/certificate with a minimum of ten years of non-teaching energy industry work experience.

Excellent working knowledge of operations in ethanol/biofuels industry.

Strong electrical, instrumentation, maintenance and safety knowledge of the ethanol/biofuels industry sector.

Good computer software skills - Microsoft Office, email and electronic calendar.

Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent written communication skills.

Ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups and to articulate and support the community college philosophy.

Preferred Qualifications

Appropriate bachelor's degree.

Ethanol production experience.

Curriculum development, teaching and/or training experience.
