Adjunct Inquiries

Position Information

Would you like to be considered for an adjunct instructor but do not see one advertised with your credentials? Our Human Resources department does not always know when adjunct positions become available, and we do not always advertise for adjunct positions. Frequently, department chairs will look at application materials they have received and contact applicants directly if a position becomes available. To be considered for an adjunct position we require the following:

• Application
• Cover letter
• Resume
• Transcripts - copies are acceptable during the time of inquiry (official would be required if hired). If you do not have a copy and need to order them, please have them emailed to: bsc.humanresources@bismarckstate.edu OR mailed to: BSC, Attn: Human Resources, PO Box 5587, Bismarck, ND 58506-5587. Transcripts will be reviewed to ensure minimum degree/course requirements meet Higher Learning Commission (HLC) standards).

Once you have completed the online application and submit the required materials, your application will be forwarded to the appropriate department chair for their review. They will contact you directly if a position becomes available for which they feel you would be a good fit.
