Home Care Companions (part of Edgewood Healthcare) is looking for a quality Housekeeper to provide Homemaking services (washing dishes, dusting, making beds, vacuuming, shopping) for clients residing in their homes.

A successful candidate will be able to (or have the following) characteristics/abilities:

Home Care Companions (part of Edgewood Healthcare) is looking for a quality Housekeeper to provide Homemaking services (washing dishes, dusting, making beds, vacuuming, shopping) for clients residing in their homes.
Specific job tasks include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Travel to client's homes while building a valued rapport with the clients served.
- Performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
- Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, counter tops, and sinks.
- Cleaning windows, mirrors and other glass surfaces.
- Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste and other rubbish.
- Shopping
- Observe and report any potential safety hazards.

Minimum Requirements
A successful candidate will be able to (or have the following) characteristics/abilities:
- 18 Years of Age
- High School diploma / GED preferred
- Able to provide housekeeping and laundry services in a resident centered environment, which meet or exceed Edgewood's quality standards
- Desire to work with seniors a must
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Competent in organizational, time management skills
- Experience working with the elderly strongly preferred.
- Have dependable transportation and appropriate license to operate vehicle.
