Description
We are currently looking for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to be part of CaringEdge, an Outpatient program within Edgewood Healthcare, who is passionate about helping others. The SLP will also confer with the attending physician and other organization personnel to support coordinated and comprehensive care that contributes to the total plan of care, participate in case conferences, in-services and other meetings required to support coordinated and comprehensive care, prepare and submit notes per organization policy, and identify patient and family/caregiver needs for other services and refer as appropriate. The CaringEdge SLP will also perform other duties as required to facilitate the delivery of speech language pathology services.

- Conducting appropriate evaluations.
- Assess home environment (as appropriate).
- Identify equipment needs relative to speech/language function.
- Identify functional speech defects and establish a plan of care to improve patient's function.
- Administer speech therapy program utilizing specialized therapeutic technique and/or equipment.
- Recommend communication devices/aids as indicated.

Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 1-year clinical experience, required.
- Master's Degree obtained through an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program, required.
- Current and unrestricted license in state where services will be provided.
- Valid driver's license and insurance.
- Current CPR Certification
