Overview: 

Butler Machinery is in search of a passionate individual who can build strong relationships with customers. A Customer Account Manager in the construction division promotes, delivers and demonstrates Cat equipment to customers. Responsibilities: 

•    Builds strong relationships with customers focusing on long term mutual growth

•    Promotes new and used Cat products to customers as well as used competitor brands on stock

•    Completes and processes all sales, finance and rental documentation

•    Delivers and demonstrates equipment to customers

•    Manages an account base in an assigned territory (Ward, Bottineau, Renville, McHenry, and Pierce)

•    Attends and works at trade shows

•    Appraises used equipment

•    Forecasts annual territory sales

•    Promotes the sale of Cat parts and service to all customers

•    Maintains accurate customer information in the customer account and machine population database

•    Participates in training and obtains required certifications as requested

•    Works within and promotes vision, mission and values of BMC

•    Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

•    A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in industry related field or equivalent combination of experience, training/or education required

•    Sales training and experience preferred

•    Knowledge of construction industry and equipment preferred

•    Basic knowledge of accounting and equipment financing

•    Good computer skills (Microsoft products)

•    Excellent self-motivation

•    Good oral and written communication skills

•    Strong organizational skills

•    Willingness to travel

•    A good driving record is a must
