Job Summary

Exceptional Part Time Opportunity!! Must have Active License in Nebraska.

Job Responsibilities

Cuts, trims and styles hair. Provides residents with opportunities for independence and choice regarding what type of haircut they want. Sets up appointments, maintains a record of services completed; completes quality improvement audits as assigned. Responds appropriately to residents' requests for help and maintains positive relationships with residents' friends and family members. Works with team members and other staff members in a helpful, respectful and courteous manner. Assists residents in meeting their social needs through interaction with staff, family and other residents. Utilizes appropriate communication techniques, reports immediately any problems/concerns about resident. Maintains safe work practices and follows facility safety procedures. Follows facility infection control procedures.

Qualifications

Prior experience cutting hair, especially for elderly, is preferred. Certification of cosmetology school completion and beauty operator's license required.

Ability to communicate and comprehend; ability to measure and comprehend certain quantities.
