Position Information

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. There will be approximately 19 working hours per week. $10.50/hour.

Is directly accountable and responsible to the Food Service Operations Supervisor

Is responsible for monitoring social distancing within the Market Place and customers are following mask requirements, sanitizing tables and chairs between use and provide sanitation to community shared condiment stations.

DUTIES:

Assists with the operation of Food Service - 95%
  1. Ensures adequate supplies for sanitizing are on hand and replenishes.
  2. Assists with sanitizing of tables and chairs in Marketplace between customer use.
  3. Assists with the cleaning and sanitizing of the work areas within the Market Place.
  4. Ensures all sanitation, safety and security rules are being followed and maintained.
  5. Follows Sanitation and HACCP programs and standards for COVID safety sanitation.
  6. Assists with washing dishes and sanitizing food tray area.
  7. Assists with monitor customers to ensure proper mask requirements are being followed.

Miscellaneous duties - 5%
  1. Maintains prescribed personal appearance.
  2. Supports innovation, creativity and ideas to improve/enhance processes, functions, etc. in the department and as a whole for the college.
  3. Performs any other duties required or assigned.


Required Competencies

  • Requires high school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to follow communicated instructions and to work independently after instructions.
  • Basic computer skills - e-mail and electronic calendar (i.e. Outlook).
  • Good interpersonal skills and common courtesy in working relationships with students, employees, and the public.
  • Requires some evening and weekend hours.
  • Must observe established health and safety requirements of a food service operation.
