Position Information

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. There will be approximately 19 working hours per week at $16/hour.

Is directly accountable and responsible to the Dean of Students.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for providing office support to the Dean of Students.

DUTIES:
  1. Assists with scheduling COVID related meetings, creating agendas, and taking notes.
  2. Provides direct assistance to students, parents, faculty and staff for the efficient operation of Student Affairs related to COVID.
  3. Prepares COVID related communication.
  4. Monitors CDC and NDDoH websites for internal updates/amendments.
  5. Assists with CARE19 app responses.
  6. Assists with COVID positive tests or exposure case management.
  7. Supports innovation, creativity and ideas to improve/enhance processes, functions, etc. in the department and as a whole for the college.
  8. Performs other duties as assigned or required.


Minimum Requirements

  • Good telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to prioritize workload.
  • Good interpersonal skills and excellent customer service skills in working with faculty, students, and the public.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Excellent computer software skills - Microsoft Office, email and excellent keyboarding skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Disciplined and able to maintain confidentiality.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with a variety of general office support duties.
