The City of Cloquet is accepting applications for the position of full-time Qualified Pumphouse Operator - Relief Person in the Public Works Department.
This position assists in the day to day operations and maintenance of the Cloquet Lake Superior Waterline Pumping Operations.
The Relief Pumphouse Operator fills in for other Pumphouse Operators who are on vacation leave or sick leave. Job involves working various shifts including days, nights and weekends. When not required to work at the pumphouse this employee will assist the Public Works department by performing various types of manual labor or semi-skilled work in the maintenance of the City's streets, utilities, storm sewers and parks. Must have a High School diploma or its equivalent and have or be able to obtain Class C Minnesota Department of Health Waterworks Operators Certificate and a Department of Health, Safe Drinking Water Lab Certification for Fecal and total Coliform.
