The Executive Sales Consultant - Midwest (IL, IN, IA, KY, OH, MI, MN, WV, WI) performs front-line relationship building and support functions as liaison to Credit Union clients and prospects within the assigned region. Responsibilities include regular contact with lending staff and senior management of existing clients as well as business development activities to attract and acquire new accounts. Executive Sales Consultants rely upon real estate lending experience and embrace credit union values and culture to engender a passion and enthusiasm to consistently promote the business interests of CU Members Mortgage in their daily activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Encourage credit union clients to offer first mortgage loans as a core product/service to their membership
- Engage in marketing, networking and business development initiatives to identify and attract new clients in cooperation with Regional Vice President of Sales
- Work in conjunction with Account Executive and production staff to insure the delivery of outstanding customer service to business partners and consumers
- Maintain accurate records and deliver reports, activity logs and documentation as necessary
- Assist business partners to engage in regular marketing and member awareness efforts to promote real estate lending products
- Provide training and support services to credit union lending staff
- Deliver and encourage a culture of outstanding customer service to clients and consumers
- Communicate effectively to a broad spectrum of audiences, from Credit Union executive management to consumers
- Perform analysis and engage in initiatives to maximize production potential
- Employ problems solving skills and quality control efforts to find efficiencies and achieve strategic goals
- Participate in trade shows, league conventions, chapter and other sponsored events
- Maintain a standard of excellence with regard to the public image of CU Members Mortgage
- Cooperate with, encourage, assist and support the activities of co-workers and promote a team culture
- Contribute in recruiting efforts and training for placement of onsite Loan Officers
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 3+ years recent mortgage industry experience
- Credit Union experience preferred
- Some college or degree preferred
- Demonstrated sales experience and persuasion skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Leadership skills, decision making and problem solving abilities
- Computer proficiency, including MS Office, Internet and internal systems
- Self-motivated and capable of working effectively without supervision
- Work from home/office
- Travel could be required based on region, with regular overnight travel
