The Field Service Coordinator I is part of a high paced, high energy field service team that provides day-to-day administrative support in the effort to keep global operations running effectively. This position takes ownership over all aspects of their responsibilities from order processing, quoting, contract reviews, and ERP systems management, KPI monitoring and reporting, and has a willingness to care for their teammates and customers through whatever ethical and appropriate means necessary to delight those they serve. This role is highly interactive not only between various internal departments, but engages frequently with other LGC personnel around the globe.

In addition this role will support continuous improvement projects that cross departmental boundaries and assist in the establishment of system structure; streamlining processes that are otherwise undefined or non-existent in support of global Field Services Team functions.

The duties of this position support both internal and external customers and will regularly collaborate with the Field Service Manager, Field Service Technical Advisor, Service Team personnel, Sales, Purchasing, and Accounting.

Essential Functions:

CRM and ERP Systems Administration: Primary subject matter expert (super-user) of our corporate ERP (IFS) system, which includes customer account set-up, customer agreement set-up and sales price lists set-up. Also assists in adding data to our corporate CRM (SalesForce), which includes instrument and customer data management. This role will also support KPI report monitoring and generation.

Order Processing and Quoting: This position works closely throughout the spectrum of our customer base - both internal and external. Supporting sales team members and customers alike, fulfilling their order and quoting needs. Responsible for consumables and parts ordering processes, IFS Price Lists, RMAs, transaction administration, spares and kit creation, and any other processes recognized to aid in future order processing and quoting needs.

Will assist various departments in attaining data for parts shipments and sell-price information. Identifies problems in operational processes and resolves them quickly; ensures compliance with company standards and procedures.

Operations Administration: This role is entirely service focused and requires an individual who enjoys working with others, is self-motivated, independent, and driven to lead projects and resolve issues that meet the needs of others. The Field Service Coordinator supports and administers multiple processes and leads projects that flow throughout numerous corporate teams involving field service operations.

This position performs foundational functions that keeps our field service team 'engine' running: KPI creation & updating, overseeing the denied parties screenings, contract reviews, responsiveness to the field service general mailbox, and the like.

The Field Service Coordinator focuses on building networks and creating alliances within the organization to build and grow positive business relationships vital to the success of their processes and projects.

Inventory Management: Oversees and administers processes involving field service inventory needs. Responsible to ensure IFS Price Lists are maintained and updated, proactively monitors safety stock and its supply levels, and provides oversight of additional part and tooling order requests for field service engineers.

Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications:

Minimum: Education: High school diploma

Experience and/or training:: 3+ years in a customer service or technical support environment

Preferred Education: B.A. or B.S. degree in business management, manufacturing, or related field or equivalent customer service experience

Experience and/or training: 5+ years in a customer service or technical support environment

Technology/Equipment Skills: Significant experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and/or IFS
