Job Summary

This opening needs to be filled in Sioux Falls, SD. Remote work is not an option.
Directs day-to-day work prioritization, execution and provides input on team development and direction. Plans, organizes, coordinates, and participates in design, development, testing, implementation, update and support of complex software application systems and associated tools to ensure the needs of Sanford Health and its affiliates are met. Leads projects regarding application analysis, coding, testing and enhancement. The Lead Software Engineer guides teams to solve significant technical problems and issues. Clarifies, interprets, and analyzes complex information and develops recommendations for management consideration. Must have good communication skills both written and verbal. Experience interfacing with cross teams and leadership is required. Provides technical guidance and mentor ship to all engineers in the team. Comes with a mindset of innovation, passionate for bringing technology solutions to business challenges, introduces new technologies where needed and have the optimistic attitude. Proactive in identifying gaps in development and encourages/ drives the team towards development practices which minimizes technical debt. Has good knowledge and working experience in state-of-the-art technologies to deliver enterprise grade software and has a passion / enthusiasm for new technologies. Hands-on experience and wiliness to work along with other engineers in the team. Must be able to lead architecture and design proposals working with the manager, engineering and business teams.
Technical expertise and knowledge require for this position are (but not limited to)
1.Full stack software development experience , 2.Microsoft .NET framework 4.6 and above, .NET Core, WebAPI 3.Microsoft Sql Server 2014 or above and ability to write Sql queries, Stored procedures, Triggers and optimization techniques

Visual Studio and Azure DevOps GIT based Source code setup, build and deployment

Sql Server based SSIS and SSRS

Programming and scripting languages such as C#, Javascript, Jquery, React/Angular

REST/SOAP based API development

Experience working in Agile based SDLC and methodologies

Unit testing models such as TDD, BDD

Knowledge on Microservice and Container/docker based architecture/solutions

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a computer-related field required. Master's degree preferred.
Five years of related experience required.
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certified or ITIL experience preferred.
