REQUIRED/ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Applicants must have a minimum of a Masters degree in Management, or an equivalent program from an accredited institution with substantive coursework in Strategic Management, or be ABD (with a minimum of two years of residency as a full-time doctoral student) in Management (with substantive coursework in Strategic Management) from an AACSB-International accredited institution or major internationally recognized university.
2. If the applicant has a Masters degree and is not ABD or PhD in Strategic Management, the applicant must have experience that demonstrates active involvement in Strategic management since the time of the Masters degree completion. Applicants must meet conditions for one of the four 2013 AACSB faculty qualifications [Scholarly Academic (SA), Practice Academic (PA),
Scholarly Practitioner (SP), or Instructional Practitioner (IP)] as defined by LSBE (see https://lsbe.d.umn.edu/docs/ Faculty%20Qualifications%20Definitions.pdf)
3. Applicants must have experience in either training or public speaking within an organized setting or teaching at least one university-level course as instructor or teaching assistant.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Ph.D. from an AACSB-International accredited institution with a curricular emphasis in the field of Strategic Management.
2. College-level teaching experience in Strategic Management courses. Demonstrate ability to teach elective courses at the undergraduate level to a diverse group of students.
3. Active engagement and involvement within the Strategic management profession.

The department's current teaching need is in the area of Strategic Management. The candidate must be prepared to teach one to two courses in spring semester depending upon the needs of the department and hold regularly scheduled office hours during the semester. Depending upon the department's needs, the course(s) may have to be delivered partially or fully online. Similarly, office hours may also be transitioned to virtual office hours if needed.

Part-Time, non-tenure-track, adjunct position in the Department of Management Studies at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level. The Department is seeking a pool of candidates to fill up to two potential adjunct positions. Being a member of the qualified pool does not ensure a teaching contract will be offered; course offerings, and therefore teaching appointments, will vary with demand and available funding.

The Labovitz School of Business and Economics (LSBE) is AACSB-International accredited and housed in a state-of-the-art building. Approximately 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students are currently enrolled in the school's programs. There are currently 50+ full-time faculty members in four academic departments: Accounting and Finance, Economics, Management Studies, and Marketing. The School offers the Bachelor of Accounting, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and MBA degrees. Regional outreach is accomplished primarily through activities of the Bureau of Business and Economic Research.
