GUARD PROFESSIONAL

Securitas Security is looking for security professionals we can call on at a moments notice! Our multi-site officers are trained to work at multiple sites in order to fulfill call-offs, temp hours, resignations and so much more! These guards are highly valued for their commitment and flexible availability

Candidates for these positions should possess and be able to perform the following:

• Prior security or military experience highly preferred
• Impeccable customer service background
• Sharp minded and detail oriented
• Professional presence and welcoming appearance
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to stand and be on feet for long hours
• Valid Driver's license, and clean driving record

PAY: $18 per hour

HOURS: Full to part time (16-32hrs/wk)

LOCATION: St. Cloud, Waite Park, an Sauk Rapids areas

CAREER & EDUCATION ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES: Securitas LEAD (Learning, Education, and Development) Program:

• We have partnered with Purdue Global University to provide affordable education opportunities for careers in security, public safety, criminal justice, business, fire science, informative technology, or emergency management
• Online education offering 4 different certificate programs consisting of four 10-week courses per program

GENERAL JOB DUTIES:

• Access Control- monitor facility access; entries/exits, gates etc
• Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems
• Patrol- walking and vehicle patrols of assigned property
• Respond to emergency situations
• Be able to respond to urgent openings with little notice

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a reliable means of communication and transportation
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record
