Pro Staff is hiring a Manufacturing Technical Writer for Cantel Medical in Plymouth MN. If you enjoy defining and writing manufacturing instructions for training, we would like to talk to you! Responsibilities of this role include creating and maintaining manufacturing work instructions, SOPs and documentation templates. As well as creating and maintaining training documents to be used for new hire and cross-training manufacturing employees.

Job Description:
  • Write and update manufacturing work instructions and related documents.
  • Conduct task analysis exercises to identify job tasks prior to writing work instructions.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing training materials (checklists, knowledge checks, evaluations).
  • Work closely with process engineers, quality, safety, operator experts and training staff to develop, clear, concise, accurate documents.
  • Help design and create process videos.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal customers.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of creating short how-to videos.
  • Good technical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of how to read prints and translate into work instructions.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational, research, and analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of documentation methodologies and requirements.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.
