Experis is exclusively partnering with an industry leading and growing medical device manufacturer in Northeast Wisconsin on a highly visible direct hire/permanent Project Engineer position - THE COMPANY IS OPEN TO RELOCATION OR WORKING REMOLTELY WITH PAID TRAVEL EXPENSES TO THE FACILITY AS NEEDED!

JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a highly visible position and responsible for providing technical leadership and project management while working closely with cross-functional team members to lead projects to deliver new products, line extensions, and product improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Project leader, technical leader, or team member for projects including line extensions, product improvements, cost savings and sustaining projects.
  • Develops timelines and project plans with cross-functional input.
  • Provides a sound working knowledge of engineering principals, concepts, and practices.
  • Creates project documents, protocols, drawings, and documentation to applicable internal and external standards.
  • Engages outside design firms, testing labs and technical consultants.
  • Develop test plans that ensure conformance to applicable standards and check user requirements are met.
  • Lead engineering change controls aligned with Quality Management System.
  • Knowledgeable on FDA and ISO Design Controls, Risk Management, and Design Transfer.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience
  • Medical device experience is a plus - Sterile, disposable or PPE, plastics, and/or nonwovens experience is a plus
  • 3D CAD experience - SolidWorks experience is a plus
  • Product development experience
  • Project management experience - Cross-functional project management experience is a plus
  • Experience with statistical software (i.e. Minitab) is a plus
