This role leads the marketing efforts around promoting the various solutions we offer and the entire Spok value proposition. This person makes sure marketing strategy and product strategy stay in sync, with an emphasis on understanding and aligning with clinical audiences. Responsibilities to ensure marketing is hitting product targets for brand awareness, demand generation, content development, and overall sales support. This position is also responsible for PR and online media marketing, partner marketing, international marketing and customer communications. Also, this position must have strong relationship with Product Strategy, Chief Medical Officer, Sales, and other key positions to drive all product messaging and positioning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Lead efforts to educate and promote software solutions to all audiences
Collaborate with the director of content marketing to equip the sales force with compelling product materials (videos, brochures, presentations), and to ensure that overall messaging is appropriate for clinical audiences
Collaborate with the director of marketing strategy/lead generation to develop, execute, measure, analyze, and improve product lead generation
Collaborate with the marketing events manager to make sure trade shows, user conferences, and other events have the best possible product support
Supervise two marketing employees in the execution of product marketing, clinical marketing, social media, PR, and earned media activities.
Lead strategy efforts to launch new solutions to the marketplace
Lead strategy efforts to promote upgrades and add-on solutions to customers
Collaborate with the entire marketing team to make sure the combined Spok brand is the strongest in our space
Collaborate on Web, social media, and countless platforms that not only promote the brand but also drive leads
Supervise and work with online media manager on product-related media outreach, press releases, analyst relations and customer focus groups - including customer user group and Nursing Advisory Council.
Ensure Spok clinical marketing is accurate and meaningful to clinical audience
Travel 25-30% US

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; and four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred or required: clinical nursing experience and training.

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience in healthcare industry
BSN, RN (current certification)
Product management and/or product marketing experience, preferably in HIT
Hospital experience

Up to date understanding of healthcare industry trends and issues
Experience with B2B marketing
Experience using social media
Experience using Salesforce
Excellent presentation skills
