Job Responsibilities

Consider working as a Universal Worker in the Good Samaritan Society - Woodland! You will have the opportunity every day to touch people's lives by providing compassion and care to our tenants living in assisted living. We are located in the beautiful Brainerd Lakes Area with public access to over 460 lakes within 25 miles, and beautiful famous walking/bike trails. You would be assisting residents in a very fun social environment with the activities of daily living, healthcare services to include medication assistance, and social activities.

Our NAs/CNAs are our front line support in the direct care of our residents. As a Nursing Assistant/Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be working with residents of our facility, by providing resident centered support with their daily living and personal hygiene needs. You will assist with meals and snacks, cleaning and grooming. You will help the resident with their basic needs, monitor and obtain vitals, engage the resident in conversation and provide psychosocial support.

A successful CNA will gain the trust of their clients by having open, resident-centered communications, maintaining privacy, confidentiality and the resident well-being. You will respect their property and safeguard their personal items. You will also comply with HIPPA guidelines, observe and report the resident conditions to appropriate staff to ensure safety and continued independence of the resident.

Qualifications
18 years or older.
Basic ability to communicate and comprehend; ability to measure and comprehend certain quantities.

Must be able to speak read and write in English and be able to articulate clearly and audibly.
