Director of Nursing Services

Eagle Point is looking for an experiences Director of Nursing Services to lead their nursing department!

The DNS is responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of care and services provided to residents. They plan, coordinate, and manage the care services in accordance with Company policies, standards of nursing practices and governmental regulations. They maintain quality care that is consistent with Company and regulatory standards. They assume responsibilities of daily operations in the absence of Executive Director and are involved in the overall selection of nursing employees and development of an organizational culture through the expectation to be a cohesive group expressing a common belief.

• Must be a Registered Nurse with current licensure in the state of facility location.
• Minimum of three years experience working with the senior population.
• Minimum of two years management or supervisory experience in long-term care
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must have the ability to relate professionally and work cooperatively with residents, families, employees, and other stakeholders at all levels of the organization and community to ensure continuity of care.
• Must display strong clinical skills and knowledge of the assessment and Care Planning process.
• An understanding and ability to carry out an effective marketing program.
• Knowledge of financial management and general business administration practice.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance
• Must meet all local health regulations. This requirement also includes criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.
• Must have the ability to perform the Essential Job Functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
