Proffutt Limited Partnership is the real estate division of R.D. Offutt Company. The Architect position will work on day-to-day design and construction tasks relating to various projects with a primary focus on RDO Equipment locations. Candidates should have 8+ years of experience with a strong passion for architectural drawing and all aspects of the construction process to ensure that internal customers are receiving quality customer service and building projects are meeting company standards. Experience in Revit and AutoCAD as well as Construction Administration is a requirement as this position guides projects from schematic design through construction.

Job Duties Include
  • Oversee and lead architectural projects from planning through construction (including new facilities, additions or remodels)
  • Development of schematic designs, construction documents, technical reports and all other documents requested
  • Lead the architecture department
  • Develop a long-term strategy of design standards and delivery of projects moving forward
  • Operate Revit and AutoCAD to produce concepts, designs and working drawings
  • Provide guidance and support to internal customer by listening to their needs, developing solutions to technical and design problems and ensuring they understand the process and outcome
  • Actively participate in construction administration and visit job sites to identify and resolve any issues before or during construction
  • Perform architectural assignments and work for any/all enterprise customers requested
  • Be a self-starter; ability to work independently as well as with other personnel and management
  • Represent self and company in a professional and positive manner
  • Attend required company meetings and training and participate in constructive discussion.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook
  • Conduct self in the presence of customers and community to present a professional image of PROffutt Limited Partnership
  • Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner


Requirements
  • Master or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, or related field
  • 8+ years of related experience with an architecture/drafting firm
  • Up to 20-30% travel required
  • Extensive experience with Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency with 3D rendering software preferred
  • Strong understanding of architectural drawings
  • Experience with the production of construction documents
  • Construction Administration and/or Project Management
  • Knowledgeable in Adobe Creative Suite and other drafting and presentation tools preferred
  • Ability to effectively meet deadlines
  • Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidate must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
