Job Summary

Responsible for the day-to-day program coordination, oversight and evaluation for projects, and the associated billing, compliance and budget management for the assigned program. Create internal budgets and budget analysis for multiple projects and report results to program leadership, where appropriate. Serve as the lead for new project startups. Monitor attendance, work schedules and assign daily work activities for staff. May ensure the completion of program activities in compliance with protocol and regulatory requirements, and that staff acquires appropriate training and certification. Possess or acquire in-depth knowledge of program protocols and standard operating procedures. Set strategic goals for program success and create policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy to execute on the strategic plan. Responsible for submission and maintenance of regulatory documentation where applicable. Work closely with others, internal or external to Sanford, to communicate program needs and concerns. Serve as the liaison with external partners to communicate program objectives, encourage recruitment and ensure compliance with regulatory protocol, if applicable. Serve as the program's face and facilitate any outreach or program growth in conjunction with the strategic plan for the organization. Possess the ability to work collaboratively with a research group or team. Occasional travel to study sites, conferences, or other events may be required.

Department Details

• Acts as the strategic partner serving as the quality resource for projects that will have a health services delivery focus
• Actively identify internal health services delivery projects that may benefit from research based methodologies/skills & promote opportunities with research staff
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to work and communicate across organizational lines on complex projects
• Work with leadership and staff to create policies and procedures that comply with federal and state policies and procedures
• General understanding or willingness to understand research methodology and behavioral economics in a healthcare setting
• Interfaces with Ops, EDA, and providers to implement projects in a way that is sensitive to current workflows and resources, while maintaining essential aspects of the project
• Directs / oversee evaluation services efforts

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or related field. Master’s degree, or PhD preferred in a related field.
Five years of related experience. Two years of experience in management role preferred.
May be required to hold a current valid Category II driver’s license.
