Bentley - This position is responsible for Company's implementation and appropriate use of Bentley's product portfolio to include but not limited to design and document management tools such as ORD, MicroStation, ProjectWise, etc.
Primary responsibilities
The primary duty of the Business Application Manager is partner with business practice leaders and users on the co-ordination of technology projects to understand business needs and to provide functional support, maintenance, upgrade, and release management activities for business-critical applications. The manager is responsible for providing advisement and guidance to the IT Application team to deliver IT services ensuring alignment with business needs and continuous service improvement(s). The position combines managerial responsibilities with in-depth hands-on technical expertise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Internal client focused on operations and field needs, actively gather field input on business requirements
Routine coordination and communication with CompanyO regarding the health of their functional area including prioritization of change requests and defects
Provide oversight and management to the IT Application team to deliver IT services
Assesses user functional needs to provide support and proactive service, including analysis of opportunities in order to take advantage of available tools
Acts as a focal point for communicating related system problems and collaborates with other teams and vendors on changes, fixes, and updates
Works closely with all other IT management personnel in identifying, evaluating, selecting, and implementing specific information technologies that support the business plans and IT strategies
Participates in the release process for applications which includes effective company wide and end user communication
Responsible for the creation, updating and execution of end user test scripts and identify testing needs and coordinate the execution of end user testing
Negotiates resolution of conflicting requirements across the diverse end user groups
Coordinates delivery of vendor SLAs by guiding escalated incident resolution, problem management, maintenance, and enhancement tickets raised by the end users for assigned applications
Reviews relevant performance metrics and measures of the services provided and enables continuous improvement activities in collaboration with peer groups
Ensure department adheres to policies and procedures that are compliant with industry and regulatory policies
Assists with the preparation of contract negotiations and budgeting for IT systems and services related interfaces and applications
Keeps abreast of new developments and forecasts future trends in the area of application integration in the healthcare industry
Maintains a strong understanding of technology and its application to achieve business objectives
Ensure training materials, job aids, and support materials for new functionality is created
Ensure business process flows are created and maintained
Prepares analysis and or proposals for other enterprise departments when necessary
Serves as an internal consultant to other IT management staff and operations community as needed
Provides ongoing troubleshooting, support, and maintenance of applications
Other Job Duties include
Technology Training Coordination - This position will support the creation of learning pathways and training options for the technologies and tools mentioned above by working with the vendor and business stakeholders to provide the functional training content and will work with Learning and Organizational Development (L&OD) staff to provide these to our staff.
Technology Quality Management Coordination- This position will support the creation of development of standards, guidelines, and/or best practices for the technologies and tools mentioned above. The leader will coordinate with Company's Quality office and the Quality Steering Committee to drive implementation and adoption.
Location and Travel
Occasional travel will be required with average annual travel to amount to less than 30%.
Utilization
The majority of responsibilities for this role will be developing and maintaining strategy and driving the innovation of software development workflows that align with Company's overall goals. This position will be actively engaged in project and program work with a steady-state utilization goal of 20% on billable project work. The type of work will vary by the engagement, but would likely be strategic or advisory in nature, capitalizing on the individual's strengths and experiences.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
This position requires the following skills, attributes and experience
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or similar related degrees.
Minimum of 10 years in leading regional or national projects/programs, with an emphasis on enabling change management.
Should have a good understanding of different software development processes to be able to communicate needs and initiatives to development teams and project managers.
Experienced in development and management of a wide range of client relationships and specific program and/or project pursuits.
Experienced with industry associations and maintains a visible profile in the AEC markets.
Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with IT personnel, technical directors, business group directors and operations staff.
Be willing to travel domestically up to 30% of their time.
