We are seeking National Facilities Director to help maintain 5+ Million Square Feet of Distribution Centers and Offices across 14 states. This position will be responsible for all phases of facility assessments/maintenance, construction planning/management, developing budgets, and long-range facilities plans based on projected growth and needs. The work in this position is complex and involves significant accountability, decision-making, organizational leadership responsibilities, and project oversight. An ideal candidate would also have firsthand commercial maintenance knowledge. Building and reviewing a facility review process and gathering data and information to pass it up the chain with recommendations as necessary.

Oversee facility maintenance and construction of all Johnson Brothers facilities

Manages HVAC, plumbing systems, chiller & boiler operations and repair, plumbing systems, operations, and repairs
Ensure understanding of architectural, civil/MEP and structural plans and specifications.
Ensure project adherence to original plans and specifications
Ensure compliance with local/state/federal regulations, including: OSHA, FDA, Fire, Building/Safety, etc.
Negotiate and administers all contracts and oversee suppliers associated with facilities related projects
Oversee financial planning processes by researching and analyzing historical data to develop future budget projections
Manage the maintenance and repair of equipment, buildings and grounds
Manage all phases of construction planning, contracting, negotiation, scheduling and execution, including, RFP, technical requirements and communications with internal staff and external vendors.
Develop, maintain, and execute a comprehensive project plan/timeline that sets deadlines and assigns responsibilities for the entire engagement
Capture key lessons learned at the completion of a project or project phase,
Prioritize resources including capital dollars across multiple competing projects
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements

10+ years of commercial facilities management experience (Distribution Center - Warehouses preferred)
Negotiation experience in commercial/industrial management.
Experience managing across multiple states and regions a must.
Travel up to 50% of the time
