Developing electrical power requirements and distribution strategies to support the installation of automated process equipment
Estimating cost and construction schedule
Developing detailed electrical drawings, termination schedules, and procurement lists
Contracting resources for electrical equipment installation per documentation and codes
Working in a team environment to successfully meet project milestones

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualification:

Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Three (3) years of experience working with machine control electrical specifications, design, and installation in a private, public, government, or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Five (5) years of experience working with machine control electrical specifications, design, and installation of electrical control systems in a private, public, government, or military environment
Prior experience with electrical system modeling: conducting arc Flash studies and short-circuit current analyses
Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and electrical classification of process areas
Travel: May include up to 30% domestic and international
