The Business Process Project Manager, part of the Strategy Execution and Business Process Improvement team at Entrust Datacard, is responsible for managing the overall execution of projects with cross-functional teams to ensure that they meet the organizational goals and requirements. This position applies strategic project management, troubleshooting, and root-cause corrective action analysis to define, manage and execute project initiatives and drive improvements in key business processes. The primary role and responsibilities include the leadership, planning, development, organization, and maintenance of project timelines, resource planning, status updates, and managing financial activities related to defined projects and other duties as assigned. Projects can include product or other types of launches, technology projects, and other strategic initiatives.

This role will act as a liaison between business functions identifying key stakeholders, and ensuring alignment is being facilitated among process owners. This position requires a person with wide ranging skills to remove obstacles and problems in the relentless pursuit of business excellence and business growth. This person must build trusting relationships throughout the organization to allow for successful completion of goals and objectives

Responsibilities

Oversees and manages the planning and execution aspects of new and ongoing projects.
Develop and manages project scope, project milestones and detailed project schedule.
Report status including progress, productivity, risk and quality metrics.
Performs cost and benefit analyses.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
Consult with appropriate staff to resolve issues; identify and minimize risks; develop contingency plans and identify opportunities to ensure projects are completed successfully.
Utilizes influencing, presenting, and training skills in leading improvement efforts
Engages team members through consistent and shared accountability
Informs leadership of potential necessary changes to project plans in response to unforeseen or unexpected developments; coordinates changes with team members.
Communication & Relationship Management - Serve as a facilitator within a project team.
Manages project communication. Coordinate and manage project meetings.
Plans, performs and implements continuous improvement initiatives to existing processes.
Provides consultation on the use of six sigma and lean techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
Facilitates or helps facilitate working sessions on continuous improvement or cost reduction projects.
Collects data to identify root cause of problems, measures performance against process requirements and aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.
Partners with the IT organization (when necessary) to understand, analyze, and make recommendations to ensure information systems are properly supporting business processes.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
5+ years of project management work experience
Experience in a Business Analyst role involving direct interaction with business leadership
Experience with leading or participating in business change initiatives
Experience working with and leading diverse groups and Matrix managed environments
Proficient with project management tools, Microsoft Project Management software and Microsoft Office applications
Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US

PMP Certification
Six Sigma and/or Lean Certification
