The Director, Facilities & Workplace Services will work cross-functionally between departments managing all aspects of the global services and workspaces supported and managed by Jamf. This role serves the day-to-day management of our global Facilities staff, while assisting leadership on meeting system level agreements, implementing strategic initiatives, and providing world-class service to our global employees.

The Director, Facilities & Workplace Services is a working manager and is expected to perform all of the standard tasks associated with the Facilities & Workplace Services team as needed. In addition, the Director, Facilities & Workplace Services will directly supervise the team of administrative professionals across the globe, working closely with the Sr. Director, IT & Facilities to manage the overall performance of the Facilities & Workplace Services staff. Key responsibilities of the position include:

Collaboration & Communication - Ensuring more free-flowing exchange of ideas that come from smaller group interaction and leveraging innovation to enhance the effectiveness of all Jamf offices, worldwide.
Performance Management - Establishing mechanisms to set team and individual goals, create visibility to individual performance expectations among team members, manage performance against expectations and routinely provide feedback to the Sr. Director, IT & Facilities.
Connecting Mentees with Mentors - Leveraging greater familiarity of skills gaps and coaching capabilities within and across teams and team members.
Development Opportunities - Increasing awareness of development needs within the team and proactively providing unique and interesting opportunities for team members to explore fields of personal interest that help shape their individual career direction.
Team Leadership Development - Enhancing personal management skills by leveraging opportunities provided to Jamf's management team and finding external opportunities to learn and grow.
This position oversees a wide variety of general office administration and facilities management. The position requires a flexible, proactive, problem-solving, detail- and customer service-oriented personality. The Director, Facilities & Workplace Services works with a team, employees and vendors to develop, maintain and communicate procedures and projects to ensure a safe and awesome work environment. This role will help define the future of how and where Jamfs work and provide leadership on what it means to provide an "Office as a Service" to our employees.

Responsibilities

Establish and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for Facilities & Workplace Services
Oversee the team of leaders and individual contributors across multiple departments on new office build outs, office renovation projects, and expansions
Create world-class employee services that enhance and define Jamf culture while promoting the Jamf brand
Help create policies, procedures, and hiring plans for all aspects of the services and spaces managed by Facilities & Workplace Services including the physical security of our spaces and people
Manage and review leases and contracts for all existing and new offices, workspaces, contracted services, and venues
Establish and report on the Environmental impacts of our offices, people, and the way Jamfs work
Oversee our global community outreach programs and alignment with the Jamf brand
Lead strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future services across the organization
Assist in defining, maintaining, and reviewing expenses and ongoing budget-related initiatives
Lead, coach, develop, and mentor the team of leaders and individual contributors making up our global Facilities team
Implement, track, and report on project status for all Facilities & Workplace Services activities
Define how the offices of the future should look and operate while extending those services to our remote work force
Act as the main point of contact for all vendor management that impacts all global offices and workplaces
Align global staff, work plans, and goals with established overall strategies for the department and company
Evaluate team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching using formal and informal channels
Keep teams effective and efficient by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing new services and workflows
Provide regular feedback and collaboration with management to continuously improve the performance of the staff and results achieved by the overall discipline
Administrative duties as needed-especially those pertaining to helping fellow office employees and upper management
Define the processes and procedures used to help the executive decide on where and how we should expand our office and workplace footprint in an efficient and sustainable manner
Create and define processes for tracking inventory and ordering office and kitchen supplies
Take responsibility for a Community Support budget and work with both external organizations and internal departments to ensure charitable giving and sponsorship opportunities are realized
Coordinate and act as main point of contact for office vendors, developing and maintaining relationships with caterers, venue coordinators, supply vendors, etc.
Coordinate and act as main point of contact with city officials and departments, local law enforcement, emergency response services and respond to after-hours security alarms
Take responsibility for physical building security; monitoring building/suite access, security cameras, physical/electronic key distribution and systems, and registering guests, vendors, and service providers
Facilitate office events to maintain a thriving company culture and enhance community engagement
Hold regular 1:1 meetings with team members to encourage open communication and foster positive team morale by providing an avenue for regular feedback and 1:1 problem solving
Perform other duties as required and completes all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures

Skills & Requirements

A high level of independence as demonstrated through clear problem solving and communication skills and the delivery of high quality work
Practical experience managing and supporting globally utilized services on-site and remotely
Experience working in a compliance-driven environment
Minimum of 10 years experience working in a Facilities, Workplace Services, or Employee Services role (Required)
10+ years experience working in a leadership function (Required)
Ability to manage multiple small projects simultaneously while adapting priorities quickly and effectively
Diverse background and applicable experience creating, managing, and delivering employee services, working with vendors, and negotiating leases and contracts
Experience managing and negotiating contracts for owned, managed, shared, and leased office spaces
Vendor management: furniture, landlords, trade services, etc.
