Schoeneck Containers in New Berlin, WI is looking for a Packaging Technician - Nights for a 7:00 pm - 7:00 am opportunity.Responsibilities:Pack products with manual, automated or semi-automated packaging linesPerform visual inspection of end products based on company standardsFollow all safety procedures to keep a clean area in our active, fast-paced, team environmentCommunicate openly with coaches and teammates in a positive mannerPerform other miscellaneous duties as assigned and contribute to improvementsQualifications:High School diploma or equivalent reading, writing, basic math, and critical thinking skillsMust be 18 years or olderDemonstrated time management skillsAbility to perform in a team without a coachMust be able to operate the proper equipment related to the job in your work areaMust have a reliable means of transportationMust be able to read and understand EnglishPreferred: Previous experience working in a fast-paced, manufacturing environmentMust be able to stand and walk for long periods and lift/carry up to 30 poundsMust be able to use fingers, hands and arms for regular tasksMust be able to wear proper PPE and perform in temperatures ranging from 60 to 110 FahrenheitMust be able to climb steps, have good hand-eye coordination, and bend/squatMust be able to visually detect defects, depth, colors, variances, and see objects as realLaugh at jokes and bring an energetic smile every day
