Job Responsibilities
  • Accommodates clients' needs through responding appropriately to clients' verbal / nonverbal expressions of needs.
  • Reports all incidents of client abuse immediately. Complies with HIPAA privacy rules.
  • Completes all documents related to social work.
  • Receives and shares information; observes and reports clients' conditions to appropriate staff.
  • Educates families and clients regarding placement, care, and rights.

Qualifications
  • AZ Level 1 Fingerprint Card or the ability to obtain one
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work (MSW) or a human services field including, but not limited to, sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling or psychology is preferred as defined in the Personnel Qualifications in the Federal Register 484.4.
  • At least one year of social work experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Licensure or certification as a social worker in the state where the agency is located, if required by State Social Work licensing board.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Basic ability to communicate and comprehend.
