Manages and leads technically water resource and drainage design tasks associated with large multi-discipline projects. Coordinates with project managers, other task leads and clients to ensure an integrated design. Establishes criteria and workplans for the drainage tasks that align with the contract language and the overall schedule. Lead designer and instructor of younger engineers. Competent to expert in CAD and a variety of hydraulic and hydrologic Organizationeling software. Excellent communication and report writing skills. Provides coordination of project execution and control, in the Water Resources/Drainage/Hydraulics discipline area, to achieve continuity of purpose within scope, budget, and time schedules from initial start-up through project closeout. Also accountable for handling specific design aspects on projects appropriate to discipline field. Coordinates efforts of assigned design team to ensure completeness and accuracy of design effort. Serves as technical liaison with client on project efforts. Responsible for gross revenue of Primary Focus Will Include
Leading (Managerial and Technical) water resources/drainage design teams in the development of roadway, train guideway, flood management, and civil designs.
Production of design packages, quantities, cost estimates, and construction.
Completeness and accuracy of teams design and calculations
Interdisciplinary design reviews
Technical liaison with client for worth within the discipline.

Essential Responsibilities

Performs technical discipline tasks including research, reports, design, specification and plan preparation to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
Actively manages project scope, schedule and budget. Serves as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets and scope of work to completion and to the client's satisfaction.
Implements the firm's project delivery plan using Companys Sophisticated Delivery Approach (SDA) on each project.
Develops project scope and fee quotation, and assists in the preparation of proposals and contracts.
Coordinates work efforts and reviews of work performed by project team. Supervises and mentors team to overall project objectives.
Oversees project staffing with departments, offices and divisions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering
8 years relevant experience
