Requirements

Qualifications include:

  • Requires a bachelors degree or its equivalent with at least 7 years experience in the field or in a related area
  • Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Outstanding leader with excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to conceptualize sales projections, and motivate the team into attaining goals
  • Be highly analytical and well organized
  • Proficient in the use of computers and related software applications

  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Leads and directs the work of others

Job Summary

Manages and directs the daily activities of the branch operations. The Operations Manager is responsible for the operations of a branch; from ensuring the attainment of sales goals to overseeing everyone provides excellent customer service. Operations Managers also ensure that the branch office has all the tools and infrastructure needed to keep it in working order. This is an unlicensed position, with no ability to originate loans.

Duties and Responsibilities

The primary job duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring smooth branch operations; acting as the main custodian of the branch; liaising with the main office to enhance operational activities of the branch
  • Soliciting new business and managing existing clients.
  • Supporting the Branch Manager in developing a local market sales plan
  • Working with all branch personnel to meet or exceed the sales target, preparing and presenting a clear and persuasive sales presentation to customers, and negotiating with customers to enhance profitability
  • Provides support by providing outstanding customer service, representing the branch in meetings, taking care of escalated client concerns and reporting sales activities, which may include lead tracking, call log management, commission requests, expense reports, submission of proposals, and profit forecasting
  • Ensures the premises are clean and orderly and check all equipment and make sure they are in good working condition
  • Responsible for assisting with lending functions, which may include sales, funding, processing, and closing
  • Supporting the productivity and budgetary performance of the branch
  • Ensures efficient delivery of products and services to clients
  • Performs a variety of complicated tasks, as directed by management
