Welder - Weekends ONLY

Summary:Are you looking for a job in a safe work environment? The QTI Group is recruiting Welders for a company in Oshkosh! This is a weekends-only, full-time, contract to hire position! Hours are 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM - Friday through Sunday. This position operates welding equipment to fabricate materials per customer specifications. Pay starts at $17/hr. and goes up based on experience! If you have the experience, APPLY NOW! We are currently conducting phone interviews!
Responsibilities:

• Set up programs and adjust parameters as needed to ensure quality parts
• Maintain a high level of focus while welding
• Ensure a quality product through required checks while meeting on-time goals
• Complete inspection reports after inspecting and measuring the material
• Perform preventive maintenance as needed
• Complete assigned duties in accordance with safety policies and practices
• Performs other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• A minimum of one (1) year previous welding experience is preferred in an industrial atmosphere.
• A minimum of one (1) year previous experience setting up & programming robotic welder(s)
• Ability to understand and decipher different types of welds.
• Ability to read and understand measuring tools and equipment such as a tape measure, calipers, and micrometer
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts
• Ability to perform math
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds, as well as lift and move heavier objects with the assistance of cranes, forklifts, or another employee
