WDAY, the number #1 station in Fargo, North Dakota, is looking for full-time Photographer to join our team and work in our multi-platform newsroom.

As a Photographer, you will shoot, edit, and occasionally conduct interviews for TV, social media and radio stories. You will be responsible for setting up and coordinating live-shots on a daily basis. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication and organizational skills. A drone license is a plus. We shoot on JVC cameras, edit on Adobe Premiere, have three live cell units, a drone, and multiple other tools for you to use. A college degree in journalism or a related field is required. The successful candidate must have a clean driving record, be organized and work well under pressure.

WDAY is an Emmy award winning, locally owned and operated station that covers eastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota. We produce more than 30 hours of local news each week. We have a staff of over 35 journalists working in news, weather and sports. Our newsroom includes spacious work areas for each employee, meeting spaces and a hangout area complete with couches and televisions.

Fargo is the largest city in North Dakota and borders Moorhead, Minnesota. The metro population is over 240,000, including the cities of Fargo and West Fargo in North Dakota and Moorhead and Dilworth in Minnesota. Fargo has a vibrant downtown with many activities and events geared towards young professionals. The community hosts many major concerts, sporting, and community events throughout the year. There are a variety of styles of apartments to choose from, including several new apartment buildings in several new neighborhoods. The communities have plenty of options for shopping; from local specialty shops to major retailers.
