POSITION TITLE: Direct Sourcing Manager

REPORTS TO: Purchasing Manager

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and execute sourcing strategies for the assigned Direct Products and Services in a fast-paced and growing environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for the Service and Supply organization.
• Oversee the day-to-day supplier metrics within the Service and Supply organization
• Develop and maintain the supplier base and supplier relationships
• Negotiate favorable pricing, terms and conditions with all vendors in the direct cluster
• Drive the implementation of new policies and procedures regionally
• Generate RFP's/quotes, and perform cost and price analysis
• Implement new supplier agreements with the goal of optimizing our procurement strategy.
• Support process improvements and transaction reduction efforts
• Generate and present supplier performance metrics to suppliers and manage associated corrective actions.
• Maintain our regional approved supplier list
• Lead and mentor sourcing project teams to ensure goals are achieved
• Perform additional duties as required

EXPERIENCE: 4+ years of procurement experience is required. Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel and power point is essential. Strong organizational, analytical and negotiating skills. Working knowledge/understanding of SAP/ERP systems. Thorough understanding of financial impact of decisions

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in related field is desired. The Certified Purchasing Management Expert (CPME) or Purchasing Certification (SPSM) preferred, but not required. Green or Black Belt Six Sigma Certification is preferred, but not required.
