Civil Project Manager (Drainage/Water Resources)

Description:

The primary duties of the Civil Project Engineer or Civil Project Manager include working with other engineers, surveyors, and technicians to complete engineering analysis, studies, and designs, drawings, layouts, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs using CAD software. Work will also entail field investigations, inspections, and surveying.

Overview:

    • There are (2) Full-Time positions available

        • (1): Civil Engineer with PE License (or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment)

            • 4+ years of professional experience

        • (1): Engineer-In-Training (Potential opportunity for the right individual)

            • B.S. in Civil Engineering from accredited University

Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for design, specifications, plans, maps, project schedule and budgets
    • Responsible for the contracts, scope of services, and budgets
    • Provide coordination of contractors
    • Effectively deal with difficult situations and confrontation both internally and externally
    • Utilize effective written and oral communication
    • May respond to RFPs and lead interviews
    • May prepare forecast of workload and monitor backlog
    • May market to existing or potential clients and obtain work
    • May serve as a project engineer, project manager, or client manager and provide overall project oversight
    • Public involvement may include reports, graphics, presentations, and other visual material

Pay & Compensation:

    • Civil Engineer:
        • With PE License: $70,000 - +$100,000/year Depending on Experience

        • Without PE License: $50,000 - $70,000/year
