What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

Report directly to the VP Corporate Strategy and Marketing Excellence in a key leadership role in the nVent Growth organization. Define, develop and influence the implementation of enterprise digital marketing processes and programs to create a competitive advantage.

Location: The ideal candidate location is St. Louis Park Minnesota, but we are open to remote working opportunities.

Main responsibilities:

Champion market back thinking for continuous improvement in all aspects of current year go-to-market digital marketing activity, including:
Enterprise governance overall Sales and Marketing digital platforms
Establish and train for best in class utilization of digital Sales and Marketing tools (Leads Digital and Content COE)
Develop and align customer Segmentation structure and targeting practices through the usage of SFDC, Marketo, Price FX and other tools
Develop and implement Digital Marketing best practices related to NPI, especially oversight of product data and rich content for syndication, go-to-market processes, market preparedness, campaign development, demand generation and sales enablement practices
Develop best in class Website navigation, customer journeys and experience
Supports Channel Excellence and Distribution teams to accelerate shift to advanced digital engagement with strategic partners
Responsible for content and publishing for all nVent web platforms, including nvent.com, and all social properties, future platforms like REP and Distributor content portals
Marketing Automation, Digital Marketing insights, analytics and reporting, Search Engine Optimization, all related Marketing Automation functions.
Content and Brand implementation
Establishes and oversees Content development best practices (incl. Trade shows)
Manages Global Content Production Centers (MGDC, Romania)
Responsible for development of cross Segment Vertical Content
Integrates cross-segment market intelligence, brand stories, content, training, campaigns for one nVent initiatives including key Verticals, Distributors, Reps
You have:

Academic background with a Bachelor's degree required and MBA strongly preferred
Previous professional experience of 10+ years in a global marketing/sales environment
Skills:

Digital and Agile Marketing and Sales acumen; led digital transformation in these key areas
Demonstrated leadership in large, global, matrixed organizations; Lead through influence
Knowledge on how market back thinking can enable sales through distribution and direct sales environment
Knowledge of Customer Experience Management
Know-how in Process Development; Project management
Aptitude to drive global cross-cultural initiatives with minimal guidance and/or create new approaches to reach a goal
Excellent interpersonal skills to build healthy relationships between clients and the leadership
Excellent communication skills and be able to present their views in a clear and compelling manner
Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands:

Desire to dig in and do the work required.
Ability to work across time zones in a multi-cultural environment
The ability to clearly and comfortably view, interpret and process information via a computer monitor for extended periods during normal working hours is required.
