Data Steward Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Data Steward for a contract opportunity with a client in Minneapolis, MN. They client's has an enterprise initiative to consolidate 6 business units to the same record type. Trying to move to all US Sales Reps sharing the same record vs multiple records of the same customer. Working to get them ported over to their general record type. They want all the 5-6 BU's sharing the same record type, market to them universally, 360 degree view.

Responsibilities:

• Define the data and identify assets within their own data domains. This ensures there isn't conflict with other data elements.
• Create processes and procedures along with access controls to monitor adherence. This includes establishing internal policies and standards-and enforcing those policies.
• Maintain quality of the data using customer feedback, concerns, questions; internally reporting metrics; evaluating and identifying issues; and coordinating and implementing corrections regularly.
• Optimize workflows and communications.
• Monitor data usage to assist teams, share best practice trends in data use, and provide insight into how and where teams can use data to help in day-to-day decision-making.
• Someone great with data, identify duplicates in the system, ID fields that would contradict or compliment what they are moving over.
• Run reports, use/administer SFDC
• Run pivot tables, data analytics, export data out of or into Excel.
• Trying to eliminate fields - identification, discovery. Building load files to move into SFDC and migrate all that data.
