Supervisor (Finance)Job DescriptionSupervise shifts and/or work areas in the operation of Elk River Pizza Man to ensure customer service and high-quality products are delivered to ensure restaurant profitability. Other responsibilities include the management of operations including the execution of all Company policies, procedures, programs, and systemsRoles/Responsibilities/ExpectationsUnderstand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programsEnsure that all customers feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all timesDevelop new ideas and strategies to grow business and discusses with Store Manager, Assistant Manager, and Owner/PresidentControls costs through inventory control and monitoring store food cost tracking data. Performs daily banking and closing procedures as outlined in the company handbookOversee that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurants recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standardsAccurately fill out opening, closing and prep work lists. Assist other staff members to complete tasks on the various listsActively manage other staff members by working hands on in making food, servicing customers, and overseeing the coordination of deliveriesAchieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility, and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environmentControl cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and proceduresContinually strive to develop your staff in all areas customer service and food preparationEnsure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurants preventative maintenance/cleaning programsProvide advice and suggestions to Managers as neededReceive and remedy customer complaintsOther duties as assigned by managementSupervisors are responsible for reporting tips for taxes on their ownQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredMust be able to work days, nights, and weekends (unless approved by management)Have knowledge of service and foodPossess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a cash register or POS systemMust possess a valid Drivers License with good driving recordQualified candidates must have excellent customer service and employee relation skillsMust be detail oriented with the capability to oversee restaurant operations and multiple areas simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment including moving and responding quickly for long periods of timeBe able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 poundsMust have the stamina and availability to work up to 40 hours per weekMiscSame duties as cooks/driversAble to perform surprise store visits (when no other supervisor/manager is in)Inventory managementAssigning duties for employees (cooks/drivers)Facebook promotion advertisingDocument employee coaching opportunities and corrective actions
