Zumbro House is a therapeutic community of residential programs, designed to serve individuals with mental disabilities and/or mental illness, and to help them live successfully and safely in the community. We are hiring a full-time Recruiting Specialist to attract, engage, assess, and assist with onboarding talent for Zumbro House, Inc. The Recruiting Specialist identifies the skills and qualifications required for the specific roles at Zumbro House, Inc. This position provides necessary administrative and staff support for general daily operations, reporting to the Director of Human Resources. Duties and Responsibilities:General Answer telephone calls. Respond to requests for information and/or forward messages to appropriate staff. Handle sensitive information while maintaining confidentiality. Present information at meetings as needed. General office duties such as typing, filing, organization of supplies, copying, faxing. Coordinate materials for training, meetings, and other activities of the organization. Perform administrative duties that support the employment and employee relations functions. Complete special projects. Perform other duties as assigned. Data Base Management Oversee centralized and new hire filing systems for employee information, ensuring prompt and accurate filing of documents, and retrieving documents from the files as needed or requested. Communicate needs for updated or missing information to the appropriate supervisory staff, both verbally and in writing as necessary. Coordinate materials for new hire orientation. Consistently update staff vacancy list and staff phone list. Maintain EEO Survey and Annual Compliance report weekly. Approve and deny transfer requests. Coordinate approved transfer requests with employee and the management team. Employee Recruitment: Recruit qualified candidates for vacant positions by ensuring online job advertisements are maintained and renewed regularly on Minnesota Jobs, MN Works, College job boards, and Face Book. Offer suggestions and implement systems to improve the recruiting process. Review job applications, vacancies, perform phone screens, interviews, and prepare new hires with pertinent information for new hire orientation. Assist Program Directors and Training Specialist in conducting interviews as needed. Research resume database, scrapes the web and engages potential candidates for vacant positions. Qualifications: Two year degree required. Experience working in the Human Services field preferred. Minimum of one year office administrative support experience is preferred. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to excel at detail management, multi-tasking, and working under pressure of deadlines. Ability to maintain highly confidential nature of human resources work. Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills with all staff/employees. Strong oral and written communication skills. Computer proficiency with experience in the use of Microsoft Office programs.
