Job DetailsLevelEntryJob LocationNew Richmond - New Richmond, WIEducation Level2 Year DegreeDescriptionThe purpose of this position is to increase customer satisfaction by performing repair and maintenance tasks on customer and company equipment and will be completed thoroughly and timely.This position directly impacts customer experience, revenue and profitability and is fundamental to our continued growth and success.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide service to customers by accurately diagnosing and/or repairing agricultural, turf or AMS equipment using special tools and equipment according to Technical Manual procedures. Service and set-up work will be completed in the estimated time frames promised to customers (internal and external)Provide timely and accurate technical support/information to customers (internal and external)Work closely with the Parts Department to promote sales, maintain accurate inventory counts, and offer customer service support when neededMaintain a clean and safe work environment in order to complete assigned work within the established guidelines.Complete all required paperwork necessary for each assigned job, including but not limited to: time allocated to the job, the materials used, appropriate use of work order numbering, and all other pertinent information required by the company or the customerMaintain the condition of company vehicles, inventory, equipment and toolsMust maintain current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products by successfully completing required trainingKey Outcomes Service Revenue and Profit to BudgetKey Metrics to Yearly Goals setCustomer experience ratingQualificationsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Basic understanding of equipment servicing for Agriculture, Lawn and Garden, Golf, and Power sports equipment1+ years of experience performing service repairsProficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipmentMust have strong basic computer skillsMust be able to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposesMust have strong verbal and written communication skillsMust be organized, detail orientated and tolerate pressureStrong verbal communication (in person and telephone)Ability to use critical thinking to solve problems and improve performanceEducation, Qualifications and/or Certifications High School diploma, or equivalentKey impactsParts Department: This position refers Parts leads and communicates pertinent customer informationSales Department: This position enhances the customer sales experience with seamless Service sales and refers sales leadsAdministration Department: This position impacts the accuracy of business transactionsAttitude, Teamwork and ValuesCustomer focus: Strive for high customer satisfaction, go above and beyond expectations, make it easy for the customer to do business with Frontier Ag & TurfEfficiency: Planning ahead, strong time-management, striving for process improvementsTeamwork: Being helpful, respectful, approachable, and team oriented.
