OverviewThis position is responsible for determining if the company's risk management, systems of internal controls, and governance processes are adequate and functioning as intended. This position helps to ensure Titan is reporting financial information that investors can rely on and works with people throughout the company, both at the Store level and at our Shared Resources Center, to enhance efficiencies in business areas.This position is a great fit for your career if you:Execute financial, IT, operational, SOX and compliance audits.Plan and perform audits and projects that result in the achievement of the Department's Goals and Objectives.Assist in the development, coordination, training and administration of internal audit functions including standards, documentation, procedures and systems.Develop strong relationships with key business stakeholders to cultivate a thorough understanding of the business, relevant financial reporting risks and core processes.Partner with various levels of the organization, including senior level executives, to create process maps and control matrices for new and updated processes.Report audit results to various levels of management along with proposing control enhancement and process improvement recommendations.Perform testing to support management and external auditors in their certifications for Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 compliance.Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignmentsOther duties as assignedQualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in AccountingBeginning understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)Proficiency in Microsoft Office productsKnowledge of accounting practices and principlesAbility to demonstrate professional skepticism, independence, and objectivityExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to travel up to 40% of the time and work flexible hoursAbility to work well with othersAbility to prioritize work and meet deadlines efficientlyStrong organizational skills, time management and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentDesire to make a positive impact with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shift prioritiesKeen attention to detail and a high level of initiative and ability to work independentlyAbility to handle and resolve frequent interpersonal conflictAbility to perform in a fast-paced, stressful work environmentAbility to respond quickly, accurately, and professionally to demands and requests from customers and employeesExemplifies Titan Machinery's Core ValuesPreferred:CPA certification Internal audit experience2+ years of related experience in an accounting position and/or related military experienceExperience working with accounting systems
