Senior Financial Business Analyst

Sr. Finance Business Analyst - Eagan, MN Contract: 6 months. Pay rate: up to $86/hr based on education / experience Will be remote likely until 1/2020. General Responsibilities:

• Backfill routine monthly activities for revenue and account forecasting and reporting
• Participate in ongoing creation of financial data sets to be used for building advanced forecasting models and pricing analytics
• Must have detailed financial and accounting skill sets and experience
• Experience in data modeling, process creation and improvement and software/platform implementation desired

Job Description:

• Independently identify, analyze and report on key drivers of revenue and expense forecasting and other financial data, draw conclusions and present recommendations on findings in a concise and effective manner.
• Develop complex/multi-dimensional models for revenue and pricing analysis and other projects as assigned.
• Network with business leadership as a resource on financial issues with enterprise impact.
• Identify, analyze and recommend process improvements and other ad hoc analysis associated with revenue and account forecasting.
• Work cross-functionally to implement process improvements.
• Ability to navigate through various systems and departments to obtain accurate information to be utilized in the budget, forecasting and other ad hoc analysis/projects.

Required Skills and Experiences:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and 8 years of relevant experience or 12 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Strong communication.
• Excellent organization skills.
• MS office applications experience.
• Excellent analytical skills and strong problem resolution skills.
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and work independently.
