Professor with Tenure
The Division of Critical Care & Acute Care Surgery in the Department of Surgery at the University of Minnesota is seeking a qualified individual for a full-time, tenure track position as Professor of Surgery. Qualified candidates must have an M.D. degree and be board certified in surgery and critical care. Clinical caseload will include trauma, surgical critical care, and general surgery cases. Candidates must also be proficient in ECMO cannulation and management.
Candidate must have expertise in surgical education including advanced training evidenced by fellowship and/or graduate education. Experience in residency or fellowship training leadership is required, including a minimum of 7 years as Program Director. Candidates must also demonstrate national recognition in surgical education research and leadership. The candidate must have published in surgical education research and a have history of research support with current independent funding.
