Are you open to new opportunities and challenges? SEEK Professionals is currently working with a well-respected company that is looking for a Technical Writer/Illustrator.
This position requires a BS in English, Technical Communications or Technical Illustration and Writing. The ideal candidate will responsible for working with internal departments to create on-line technical content including publications, labels, packaging, and animation. You will be in a team that creates and maintains content and illustrations for installation instructions, homeowner guides and servicing instructions.
Experience with XML and DITA authoring tools and SAP is preferred. Authoring for reuse is required. Familiarity working with a tagged language (HTML/XML/DITA) is required. Requires familiarity with InDesign. Illustration experience with CAD or Pro/E, Creo, Adobe Illustrator, or Arbortext IsoDraw a plus. Proficiency with database use and excel spreadsheets required.
