Brightstar is looking for a Junior Territory Manager to manage our clients and liaise between teams to fulfill client's expectations.

  • Understand the client's business and associated needs to a significant depth, in order to best identify and develop solutions with the resources available within Brightstar, which will yield the optimum mutual return.
  • Responsible for guiding the development of programs, training, sales tools, scripts and plans to enable the Brightstar technology and operations to optimize and maximize net revenue/margin.
  • Has an in-depth understanding of the client's functionality and Brightstar's financial and operational business considerations; consistently utilizes sound business decision-making, reactively and proactively, in correctly balancing and responding to the interests of both parties.
  • Should be able to gain a deep understanding of the entire suite of the client programs/initiatives (application, peripheral systems, integration, data conversion, etc.) and the client's process/functions supported by their solutions.
  • Works with the product management and development team(s) to ensure they are meeting the needs required by the client and the markets/channels in which they operate. Works with Boost/Dish Field Team, Direct Distribution Partners, Owners and Existing Brightstar Team
  • Analyzes market statistics, customer information, and competitor data/services to formulate effective relationship building strategies.
  • Performs duties in a manner consistent with the vision, mission, and guiding cultures of Brightstar
  • This position is an exempt position. Exempt employees are expected to give full professional attention to their work and to be normally available during business hours, including working any hours necessary to perform the duties of the job. This position may require employees to work evenings, weekends, occasional holidays and to travel.


Skills:

  • Demonstrated track record of relevant achievement working within the telecom or related industries.
  • Must demonstrate the ability for meeting monthly metrics, attach rate goals and deadlines because this is a goal/performance driven position.
  • A solid track record of accomplishments in account management and/or product management.
  • Must be able to travel 50% as required to form relationships with this account.


Experience:

  • Extensive experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and ad hoc reporting software


Preferred Education & Training:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University and 2 years' experience managing clients or businesses.
